This is my 3rd cruise. Twice with carnival and then this one with RC. Boat was nice with alot of great pools, whirlpools. Shows was good. Food at times was good but I was expecting better. Windjammer should stay open later. Chops grill was terrible. A waste of money. I enjoyed the shopping deals on the trip. Something on sale almost every night. Ship was clean. I would cruise again, but after 3 cruises I realize its the ports of call I really like and not just cruising. My next trip will be flying and I will be able to spend more time on the island. I was disappointed with the drink situation. If you dont pay extra there isn't anything good to drink. The tea was soooo watered down and the coffee was toooo strong. Didn't care for flavored water. I think you should be able to have juice or punch. It is a rip off to pay $20.00 a day just for soda and then you have to carry around the cup all week. I don' like that at all.

Food was ok in the windjammer and good dining room. The tables and chairs in the windjammer are too tight. Very difficult to get around. It needs smaller chairs.Allen our waiter was very nice and accommodating in the dining room. I think the food could of been better. I guess I expected more. Very disappointed with chops grill. I ordered a steak med rare and I got well done. The baked potato looked old and waited 10 minutes for the butter and sour cream for it. The creamed spinach was awful. The so called cream was watered down milk at best. I wasted $70.00 and when I expressed my disappointment to our waiter no action was taken. He had a oh well kinda attitude and didn't apologize or offer to make anything right. I went the last night of my cruise with my husband and was hoping this would be a really special dinner. In fact it was the worst dining night of all.

It was small but good enough for the time we actually spent in it. Our statesman was good. I was in room #2425 Shower was to tight to shave legs. I liked the room safe. Bed was comfortable. Always got plenty of clean towels and ice. The second floor hallway a few times smelt like urine, but not in our room.

I really liked the couple who did the acrobatics on the 2 long drapes. It was beautifully done. Very talented and my fav by far. Ice performance was good but I thought the skaters with the wings was kinda cheesy. Loved the man in the big metal ring on the ice. Enjoyed him a lot. I liked the parade on the last night of the cruise. I also liked the comedian. He was funny without being vulgar. That was a welcome change for adult comedy. The sexy man contest had a young girl as one of the judges. She was too young to be involved in that kind of contest. I enjoyed the adult only pool, whirlpools and golf. I didn't participate in any other activities. I did like the shows better than the last 2 carnival cruises I took.

Glass bottom boat at coco cay was ok. Booked thru RC. A storm was coming so the excursion was cut short. Did an island tour, shopping and swim to Magens bay on St Thomas. This was booked thru RC. Guide was so so. Stops wasn't that great. Shopping was cheesy souvenir shops. Botanical gardens didn't have much. Magens bay was not as pretty as I expected. Did snorkel and found a starfish. Open bus with a screaming kid on our bench not my idea as fun. Getting off the ship and trying to find the people who did the excursion was a complete zoo. This should be better organized. Too many people running around trying to find the people for their excursion. My husband and I was directed in the wrong direction twice. They need to have big banners along the dock already set up when people get off the boat can see where thy need to go, instead of holding up a sign as bid a a ping pong paddle. Almost missed our excursion. St Thomas was dirty and I wasn't impressed with it much. I loved St Maarten. Booked an Island tour, shopping and orient beach swim with Bernards tours. They were awesome. A hundred times better than RC excursions. We had a guy named mailman and he did deliver. Very good guide. Orient Beach was gorgeous and so much prettier than St Thomas. Seen my first mongoose. Cant wait to go back next year to St Maarten. Plan on flying there and spend a week on the island.

Overall trip was a 7 on scale of 10.
