I went on this cruise with an older family member. I knew this would not be the best cruise for seniors, but I was not expecting it to be so filled with partying twenty-somethings. There was little to do aboard the ship other than drink. The main pool was way too crowded and the solarium pool was little better except no kids were allowed (although that was not enforced). There were minimal activities other than things you had to pay to attend (e.g., spa, classes, etc.) The entertainment on 2 of the 4 nights was not much more than advertising what you could spend money on while aboard. The cruise director/singer John Blair was good, but the theme of the shows he did were totally boring and amateurish. He was more of a performer than a personable cruise director.. Only the one night with the juggler/comedian was entertaining. The bands near the pool were noisy. The violinist who played in the Centrum was awful. The food in the dining room was good, although portions were on the small side. The dining room service was outstanding and we had a wonderful waiter and head waiter. The food in the Windjammer Cafe was mostly just ok. The layout of the Windjammer made it hard to get to the food. It was entirely self-service, which was difficult for two seniors. The room was satisfactory although the beds weren't the best. There were no extras (shampoo, etc.) in the bathroom. Everything was bare minimum. The room attendant was pleasant and kept the room in order. Overall this cruise was a disappointment.

Good in dining room at dinner time. Not too interesting in the Windjammer. Lots of sandwiches, ordinary fruit (nothing tropical), desserts ok but not exciting.

Lots of storage but everything else was bare minimum.

Very little to do unless you wanted to drink, listen to loud music.

Was limited because of the age of my traveling companion. Was given misleading information on how much walking was required to get to the low activity level excursions. If you are limited physically, none of the excursions were as accessible as they said they were.

Was disappointed at the lack of activities for older passengers, the mediocre shows, the boring movie choices. Don't go on this ship unless you are under 40.
