This was my first time cruising and I couldn't have been more impressed. I'm already looking forward to planning the next cruise. The Royal Caribbean staff really do go out of their way to make sure your vacation is enjoyable.

I am a very picky eater and I had no problem finding plenty of delicious food. We ate in the formal dining room one night to enjoy the superior service and the served meals. The rest of the cruise we ate in the buffet, as it was more of a relaxed environment. I was pleasantly suprised to see lots of sugar free dessert choices in the buffet, since I have several diabetic people in my family.
I could go on and on about the food, but I have no complaints, and I guess that's all that matters!!

The staterooms on a ship are small, there's no doubt about it. Fortunately, there are so many activities to participate in and gorgeous views to enjoy that you dont spend much time at all in your room. For my spouse and I, the room was big enough for us both to move around, open up our luggage and do what we needed to do. Even though it was small, there was a huge window above the bed, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. Next time I cruise, I think I'll take a step up and get a room with a balcony.

There was never a lack of things to do. From first thing in the morning until we were too exhausted to do anything else, there was a full itinerary of activities to participate in - everything from children's activities to the Love and Marriage Gameshow, to the wonderful Parade of Flags on our last day of cruising.

The dolphin encounter in Cozumel is AMAZING. You get to be right in the water with about 6-8 other people and 2 dolphins. We got to watch them jump, talk, wave, and more. Our group was a wide range of people, from a young boy to an elderly couple, and we all had a blast! The photographer takes your picture kissing the dolphin and you can purchase this after the excursion. Also, they video tape your whole experience and you watch it with your group afterwards. It was a very affordable, enjoyable and memorable experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This 5 day cruise was the perfect thing for first-timers. Mexico and Grand Cayman were beautiful and very tourist friendly - we didn't feel unsafe at all being in these foreign countries. I'm planning another cruise ASAP and it will definitely be with Royal Caribbean. The experience was so great that I don't think I'll ever risk cruising with another company!!
