Grandeur of the Seas Cruise Review

Cruise Line: Royal Caribbean
Ship: Grandeur of the Sea
Sailing Date: June 10th, 2005
Itinerary: Western Caribbean

I went on a Carnival cruise last year, I spent half as much and had twice as much fun. Royal Caribbean is supposed to be better than most cruise lines (NOT!) All they do is charge extra for everything! Carnival had free soft serve ice-cream. Royal Caribbean expects you to buy Ben & Jerrys for $4.00 Carnival had much better service than Royal Caribbean, the staff seemed to be bothered by the guests. We had problems with one or 2 excursions and the guest relations people could care less. In Cozumel the " Deluxe beach break" is a joke! The beaches are soo crowded you can't move, the water was dirty, and the food was terrible. Also there were party boats dropping people off on the beach throwing up from too much alcohol.

All I can say is that Royal Caribbean was a huge let down. I will not use them again. As a matter of fact they made me not even want to cruise again. If you price an ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT you'll find it to be a better deal in the long run.

If you read this and cruise with Royal Caribbean anyway, you'll wish you had listened!
