Boarded the ship in Miami, everything was straight forward and the system seemed to be very efficient. We had an Oceanview Stateroom which was very spacious and well equipped. The weather was very kind to us and we enjoyed a very smooth and comfortable crossing.
We dined for dinner at the second sitting in the Michelangelo dining room. Generally, the food was very good, the meat and fish dishes were exceptionally good but we did find that the vegetables were slightly under cooked to our taste. The menu offered a wide range of choices. Our waiter, Ransel and his assistant Alfredo were both most attentitive and took good care of us. Any complaints that we had were dealt with immidiatley.
Large Oceanview - forward. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Very comfortable bed and the room was very quiet. Our cabin steward, Wayne was very accomodating and looked after our needs extremely well.
A wide range of things to do and take part in. Cannot see how anybody could be bored on this ship. We did think that the library could have been better stocked and that the opening hours should be more flexible.
Did not go on any organised trips, we just took the shuttle bus to city centres from the ship. Most worked out okay but the transport in and out of Valencia could and should have been better organised.
We had an exceptionally good voyage. The entertainment onboard was simply suberb. An experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to doing it again.
