Royal Caribbean International Mario
Perhaps my partner and self (he brought his parents along too) are way beyond the three-night-er, but this was below expectations.
Food was excellent as always especially the dinners (they did away with the demeaning dances the waiters and wait staff had to do post dinner. The wait staff made a point of remembering your FIRST name (whether or not you want to be addressed as such - perhaps asking how one would want to be addressed would be preferable). Shows and cruise director were to expectations. Cons: The hallways on many decks smelt of sewage...for want of a better word. Many of the public restrooms smelt of urine. The ship is in need of a MAJOR overhaul....and apparently this will be done early next year. It is in ok shape but showing her years. (Built in 1992). Midnight buffet (yeah, why do they have those things??), was ok. You can see a definite scaling back of personnel and services/goods on these ships. The cabin attendant was
not seen from which was unusual as they usually come and introduce themselves Ask a Question About Royal Caribbean Cruises
