My husband and I experienced an unfortunate event when we went to the wrong ship "Monarch of the Seas" which had the same sail date, itinerary, and nearly the same name, but was leaving from a different pier. We explained our mistake to the Hospitality Desk to see if we could wait for a cancelation or if any rooms beacme available to us. I am 4 months pregnant with twins, so my husband suggested that I sit down while he stayed at the desk while the situation was resolved. While I was sitting I was approached by two Royal Carribbean female employees who weren't even from the desk that my husband was waiting at. Apparently they had heard of our situation and began to harass me rubbing it in that there was no place for us on the ship and we weren't going to be able to go anywhere. Meanwhile, the gentleman that was helping my husband was trying to resolve the situation with a voucher to another RC cruise. I told my husband what was said to me, and he was shocked that they were rubbing it in that I couldn't get on the ship. My husband and I decided to leave without resolving anything because we were so disgusted by the way we were treated. On our way out we decided to say goodbye to a couple that was having similar problems trying to get on the ship and was trying to help us out as well. The couple asked me if maybe I could give them a ride to a hotel as they were being told they couldn't go as well. Just as I was about to answer, a woman came out from behind the other desk and began to scream at me in front of all the other desk saying "you need to go sit down over in the waiting area". My husband was appalled by the way I was treated. I was so humiliated that I began to cry, my husband told me to sit with him for a while to calm down and relax while we figure out what we were going to do. Just then, a different RC employee came up to us while we were sitting in the waiting area and said "I am really sorry about what happened with your vacation....but you booked the wrong cruise, went to the wrong port at the wrong time. This was all your mistake." At this point my husband and I were completely insulted because we never blamed RC all we wanted was to get on another cruise. We ended up leaving the port without anything being resolved like the customer service had promised us. I have never been so disgusted by anyone's behavior in all of my life. My husband and I did not deserve to be stressed on our vacation, nor did we deserve to be humiliated in front of other guests.
