Itinerary: Coco Cay and Nassau Bahamas

The overall experience of my trip was just okay. This is my fifth cruise and my first with Royal Caribbean and I was not impressed at all. Although, the food was excellent and I can not complain.

The stateroom I found to be very small. I stayed in the interior stateroom and there was very little room for the two of us. Believe me when I tell you, the only thing you can do in this room is sleep. The rooms are very small.

I found there to be very little activities on-board. Most of the time we were walking around trying to find something, anything to do, but there was nothing at all. I usually cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines but decided to do something different. My friend was celebrating her Birthday and this was her first cruise. With Carnival they keep you busy from the time you step on until you step off. For this reason I will never cruise with Royal Caribbean again, we were so bored on this boat.

We decided not to do the excursions. Once we made it the Coco Cay we purchased a life vest for $6.00 and went snorkeling. We had our own snorkeling gear so we only had to pay for the vest. Snorkeling was very fun. When we made it to Nassau we took a carriage ride for $10 per person, which was very nice. Then we went shopping. We found the excursions to be a little pricey, so we decided to venture out on our own.
