Itinerary: Nassau, Coco Cay and Key West

This is the second time my family has sailed on the Majesty. First time was Christmas 1998. I was amazed how well they have maintained this wonderful ship. We traveled with another family on their first cruise. They were shocked at how small the cabin was when they first saw it. By the end of the cruise they said the cabin was more than adequate considering how little time you spend there. Store your suitcases under the bed! Our cabin steward made cute animals from the towels. Don't forget to leave sunglasses out! The food was excellent and plentiful. Niece sampled many different things at breakfast. The ports were nice. Didn't take any scheduled excursions but explored on our own. Avoid the water taxi's to Atlantis in Nassau. They charge round trip and are overcrowded and you have to walk quite a distance to the resort. We took a cab back to ship for $4. The midnight buffet poolside in Nassau was fantastic. The ship also pulls out at midnight! They were doing some renovations at Coco Cay but it still was a wonderful day. Don't wait too late for tender back to ship! Key West was beautiful. We docked right downtown at the Hilton. After sailing on two other cruise lines, we think the dining staff to be the best around. Our waiter, P.K. and assistant Doni were from India. Both were extremely pleasant and enjoyable. Getting off the ship was the fastest ever. Luggage is on a carousel now instead of a warehouse. Great cruise and wish it had been longer. Jim
