Since there are very few negative things I have to say,I will begin there. Like many of you have noted the rooms are very small, however since you spend very little time in your room, it doesn't matter. Our room easily accomodated two people. We had the cheapest of the cheap, Deck 2 interior rooms. The only problem I had was, when you awake each morning your room is completley dark and since there is no alarm clock you never know what time it is. This could be something to consider if you are getting and interior cabin. T.V. channels are little to nil, you will find yourself watching the same movies over and over again, so make sure you enjoy the activites on the boot.

There are a lot of things that are not covered in you cabin cost including, Spa Service, Exercises classes (i.e. yoga, pilates, spinning) and Bingo. However, since there is plenty of free stuff to do you shouldn't have a problem. We arrived on the boat quite early and had no problem checking in. Our room wasn't ready so we walked around and then had a bountiful lunch. The food was good, not excellent but very good and there was a variety, so that everybody could enjoy something. We didn't order the drink pass because we are not big drinkers, there was plenty of lemonade, water and ice tea to be had and I ordered a couple a drinks to my room. If you are a big drinker be careful because this could easily add up. Dinner was in the Maytime dining room. We had very nice waiter who was quite attentive and friendly. The food selection was more upscale than our lunch selection, but again there was plenty to be had, including a appetizer, soup, salad entree and dessert. Our first night we got acquainted with the ship for the most part. The movie selections were pretty good, Garfield, Laws of Attraction and School of Hard Rock. We turned in pretty early because we were tired, but there was plenty left to do including, shows, midnight buffet and dancing. The next morning we set off for Coco Cay after breakfast. We boarded the tender which was surprisingly painless and smooth. Coco is beautiful and if you are looking to just relax in the sun, this is a great place. Of course there were water sports, including a paddle boat, parasailing and wave runner. We tried the waver runner, which wasn't as much fun as I had initially envisioned. After that, we had lunch on the beach-- a BBQ which was pretty decent. We went back on the ship at about 3, a rested for a while before going to dinner. Since our seating was at 8:30 we had plenty of time to get ready for the Captin's Ball. Most people dressed up- women in cocktail dresses or gowns and men in suits or tuxedos.

There were plenty of stations set up to take pictures which was really nice. We didn't have to wait on long line like I thought we would. After dinner we headed to the love and Marriage game show, which was very funny. I wasn't impressed with the South American Cowboy so I didn't stay for the comedy hour, but heard it was a very good show. We arrived at the Bahamas at 8 and got off the ship at about 10. I expected it to be many more people crowding the streets, but I didn't feel overwhelmed by people trying to get us to buy. We walked around the city but since it was pretty early on a Sunday a lot of things were closed. Bartering wasn't easy, most vendors had a set price and wouldn't budge, so that is a myth. We went to Atlantis which was beautiful and did some window shopping. We got back on the ship just as it started to rain. Later that night we walked around the shops on the boat which I found to be very reasonably priced. There were long lines everywhere, with people getting last minute deals. Before dinner I had a mini facial which proved to be the most disappointing experience of my cruise. Since the spa was booked I had my facial in the salon and had to sit in a chair the whole time. The facial actually was more than a cleanser, scrub, toner and moisturizer which I could have done myself and saved $55. We prepaid our tips which was the smart thing to do because when we got back in the room the vouchers were their waiting.

Before dinner we went to the Beat Goes on show. It was fabulous, great voices, nice songs and good dancing. We enjoyed our last night on the boat, taking pictures with our waitstaff playing a round of bingo and packing to leave. The last night there is no midnight buffet, so there were long lines at the pizza lounge-- the only place to get food. We set our luggage out and waited we to sleep. The next morning we woke to the sound of the P.A. calling out color groups to leave the ship. We rushed through breakfast only to find a long, long line to get off the ship. Disembarkment was absolutely the most unorganized thing on the boat. People were confused and afraid they would miss there flights. But overall it was an excellent experience. I would definitely do it again. The boat was great, most of the time I didn't know we were moving. I would reccommend anyone who is new to cruising to start with Royal Carribbean. You may wish to take a longer cruise though.
