Drove to Miami to board ship very easy to find Port of Miami parking deck is directly across from ship. Ship sailed @ 5 arrived about 2 PM easy boarding process no trouble at all. After getting settled my bride and I checked out the ship and found it to be easy get around and locate shops, casino, and theatre. Since hurricane Jeanne was in the area our ride out of Miami was VERY rough the first night. Not many happy sailors on board, barf bags were located on all the stair railings. Fortunately we didn't need any but there was no dining or dancing or really much of anything going on Monday night. We arrived in Nassau on tuesday morning very smooth disembarkment Nassau is easy to get around has a 3rd world feel about it. Watch out for the time share hawkers from Ron Jon. It was a very pleasent morning afternoon downpour. BTW US cash is used in the Bahamas. A few bargains to be had on the street. I would not recommend getting too far off Bay St. seemed a little rough. Took a cab to Atlantis, huge let down. Atlantis is all hype, very tight slot and video poker machines, no Pai Gow and very few tables. Every thing @ Atlantis is WAY overpriced. Sailed out of Nassau around Midnight.

Thanks to hurricane Frances Coco Cay was closed so we spent all day Wednesday @ sea. Favorite day of cruise. The formal dinner was nice and the formal dining room (Maytime) wait staff were excellent. Arrived in Key West Thursday morning went through US Customs check to prove we are Americans. The line moved quickly. Out to Key West. We took a guided walking tour of town. It was nice and informative. Picked up a few bargain t-shirts a drank quite a bit @ Sloppy Joes. That seems to be about all there is to do in Key West. Lots of Hemingway ate here and drank here and stuff, but he's been dead quite awhile now. Left Key West @ 5 PM ship hauled back to Miami. Nothing going on last night other than cleaning. The Mast Sports Bar is horrible. No sports on TV on 1 soccer game. The pizza is stale and non edible. The buffets were good typical buffet style food. Main dining room food excellent. The animal shaped folded towels in our room were a pleasent surprise. Cabin attendents did a great job. Casino slots and card tables are very tight, do not even think about winning anything close to big. You do not need to purchase an excursion to leave the ship when it docks. TV channel selection is very few but we didn't go to watch TV. Parking is $12 a day at the port. You do get a feeling of being nickeled and dimed to death as the ship tries to milk every bit of cash out of you they can. Leaving the ship @ Miami was a cake walk we carried on so no wait for baggage. I highly recommend small carry on bags we had 2 on garment bag and a small bag. We were on deck 2 inside. Room is dark but they have wake-up calls and TV has a clock and neat channel that shows speed and course of ship.
