Wow what an experience! My husband's and my 1st cruise. I wish we'd have done it years before. No better way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
Be smart and arrive early departure day. The whole boarding process was a snap. Their staff has this down to a science. Once on board you can begin using their facilities, have lunch and unwind before you ever depart. The ship I thought was large but, I'm told it's one of the smaller ships in the fleet. It was clean and didn't have the appearance of being old or run down. Our stateroom (superior oceanview) gave us more than enough room and provided a nice view and surprisingly enough a very comfortable bed.

I can't say enough about the staff, we never wanted for anything. The formal dining room was excellent, we ate in there 3 out of the 4 nights. The wait staff was totally superior and the food far better than I had expected! For breakfast and lunch we enjoyed casual dining in the Windjammer Cafe. I must confess I never had a bad meal there either. I was totally surprised at the selections offered. The midnight buffets were presented nicely and fun to attend poolside even if I was so full from dinner I couldn't eat another bite.

I would have been happy never getting off the ship, always plenty to do and see. You will receive a Cruise Compass daily, take the time and read it! RCI highlights the day's activities, I loved receiving this and being in the know.

We did however take advantage and got off at every port. Nassua in town was a bit run down and more shops than you can imagine. Ladies and gents if you are in the market for jewelry you can shop til you drop here... Check out the straw market here and bargain for a good price. They have more crafted items here then they know what to do with! If you want to see a beautiful sight check out Atlantis on Paris Island. How the other half lives is amazing, luxury abound. They also have a aquarium you can walk through at no charge. We did go to the beach at Paris Island however, the surf was to rough for swimming. The beach was beautiful and clean...

We also visited RCI's private island CocoCay, it was too awesome. RCI needs to allow more time here. A beautiful setting and the ocean was so pure and the most beautiful blue you could imagine. Don't forget to stop by the Straw market there too. This by far was the best stop we made.

Key West was a lot of fun too, we shopped more than anything here and, we did stop at a little Irish pub for lunch and drinks. A fun place with live entertainment. If you are having trouble deciding on a cruise, I hope I've helped. It was worth every minute and the time seemed to go by so slowly, allowing us to totally enjoy ourselves. This 4 day cruise was just enough to give me the cruise bug. I can't wait to go on another. Just get out there !!!
