This was our first cruise but certainly not our last - the lottery has become an even more regular itinerary in our home since the cruise in the hope we can take even more.

It was fantastic - having never been on one before we were all very skeptical as to what to expect and all the pre-reviews, brochures, etc can never put into words the fantastic experience that you will get especially with someone as good as Royal Caribbean,

The ship was terrific, entertainment, food, staff, accommodation, nothing was too much trouble - even the weather was on our side.

The ship is so first class and on the night that you are presented with all the wonderful food artistry, ice sculptures, etc, you could only liken it to a top class hotel that would cost an absolute fortune to stay there and you would never feel as comfortable as you did on this ship.

The atmosphere was so friendly, first rate service and style but with no stuffiness whatsoever.

We were happy to dress up on the few occasions that were formal evenings and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere on the royal promenade - watching the different styles and seeing something which unfortunately is so alien to normal life these days. Beats jeans and trainers any day.

Without boring you, if you want to try it, then don't be put off by negative thoughts, book, go and you will have a fantastic time. We did and we will be back next year
