After 4 voyages on the Navigator of the Seas, the Mariner of the Seas seemed to be a carbon copy of the NV (which is no put-down). Only the names were changed to protect the innocent. The dining, both in the dining room and in the Windjammer, was excellent and we were seated with a Mom and Dad, Son and Fiancée, all from England who could not have been better company. The food was excellent and properly served.

We got our favorite Cruise Director... Becky Thompson from Coventry England who you will quickly learn to address as 'Allo Love!'. This blonde 90 pounder has more energy than you can ask for and is quite an entertainer.

The first stop is Coco Cay in the Bahamas and is advertised as a 'Straw Market' and the cruise staff encourages the passengers to take dollar bills. They actually sell T-Shirts and the like and prices generally start at $20 and go up from there and there is no haggling over the price.

We recommend the 'Love and Marriage Game' and 'The Quest'... if you don't participate, you have lost half the fun.

Photography on the MA was somewhat better than the NV and we bought quite a few shots.
There is a 'Mister Sexy Legs' contest poolside and I am a three-time winner of 'Mister Flamingo Legs' (at 5'11" and 125... who could compete?)... in September on the NV, I am going for number 4.

You go and have fun on the NV or the MA... RCCL is easily the finest.
