This was my second cruise but my first on royal carribean. I can tell you that it will be my last cruise on royal carribean. My overall experience was not enjoyable at all. My first cruise was on carnival and so I had an idea of what I expected to find on this ship. By no means did it add up to carnival's experience!

The food was okay in the dining room , but in the windjammer the food was not so good. The breakfast food was not very good and the coffee was like mud.The waiter we had for dinner was however awesome in the dining room.

My stateroom was very very small. I shared it with my 2 kids and we didnt have enough room to unpack so we lived out of our suitcases. Our stateroom attendent was wonderful and he did a great job at cleaning it but it was way to small.

There was not enough on board activities, especially for the young kids!!

the kids did the water slide in cocoa cay which was fun for them. It is a definite plus for an excursion!

The staff poolside was not attentive at all.I spent most of my time getting mine and my children's drinks! The shops on board were not open for very long periods of time and there was no entertainment for my family. The ship was very rocky, we felt and heard every bump. We even heard the anchors being dropped! The TV in our room was extremely old and alot of the times it would be lacking channels due to "weak signal". The last night at dinner they ran out of coke so we had to opt for diet coke. Not all the staff were friendly, we asked a question to one of them and they could not give us an answer because they were new. There were a lot of cabins with kids unsupervised which made for noisy neighbors! I would not recommend this ship to families with young kids. My kids were 8 and 12 and there was not much for them to do. We were poolside and they ran out of coke the first day on the ship. The other people on the ship all seem to be as frustrated as us which led to nasty encounters between everyone. For example within one day on the ship there was almost a huge fight at the rock wall. We met a family who had bed bugs in there room so they had to be moved. The staff poolside were so laxed that the cups overflowed poolside.. this ship has 2 pools and only one was open on the first day. The dessert selection was very poor! The list could go on! My next cruise in April will be the Carnival and I will never set sail Royal Caribbean again.
