Breakfast was good, every morning. Lunch was good every morning. Dinner we had to hold our breath on and there wasn't much of it.
Room was cleaned twice a day and I thought had plenty of room.
Boring except for the juggler.
Snorkeling at Rainbow Reef in Nassau. The price is worth the boat ride itself and the snorkeling is great as are the guides.
First time cruising. We selected this cruise because of timeing issues being spring break it was good timing for work and school for the kids, though they were left behind.
After putting the down payment on the cruise and as I kept paying I quickly saw this thing was going to nickle and dime me to death. A little here, a little there added up quick. We flew down and needed a transport from hotel to the ship and I did see where RC offers that online and "recommends" that you book that 2 weeks before set sail. We let time slip by and called a week out and was told they couldn't get us because it was too close to sailing. We went through another agency and actually saved about 30%.
Getting on the ship was quick and painless. It was very clean and though I 've been told it's an older ship being a new cruiser we couldn't really tell. RC's service people are amazing. We were taken care of from the first second onboard until our departure. We did find being at sea a little boring though just going to the top deck and looking out is breathtaking. The food was eh but again service was unreal. I've always heard on the ships the food is the thing but they had a steak resteraunt that you had to pay for to eat at. What the? The cabins were cleaned twice a day and were roomy I thought. Entertainment was ok. We did a snorkeling excursion and that was great. Easy to buy, easy to find when we got off the ship and I thought was fair priced. Their private island itself was worth the trip. Getting off the ship was also surprisingly painless.
Overall I'm kind of in the middle about the whole event. My wife and I had fun and enjoyed it but I have a feeling there's something a little better out there.
