Age: 15 Having been on the Explorer of the Seas I knew what to expect once we got on board. A huge ship with good food, great service, and BINGO! The cruise directors staff was nice except one person who will remain un-named. the food was ok but the service was excellent.
Labadee was the 1st port. it was also the best. my
dad and I took the wave runner tour. I highly recommend it. You go about 9 miles
down the coast of Haiti and back. Grand Cayman was next. This was a nice port because of the lack of poor beggars. The English territory has 3x the per capita income then does the US. No beggars here. The shops were still all the same. Cozumel was last and it stunk. Almost all of RC cruises come here and I don't get it. Its hot, you have to take a taxi to get to the stores which are all the same again, the people are extremely poor, and there were 9 ships in the same port that day. If you cruise with RCCL I suggest you play Bingo. I won $201 the first day. The jackpot was $11,805 on the last day and one person won it all. In cash. Overall I give this cruise an 8/10. -2 for Jamaica and Cozumel. Other than that it was perfect. Ask a Question About Royal Caribbean Cruises
