We could not have been happier with RCCL's Navigator of the Seas! We sailed on it's 13th cruise (lucky 13!) and have to say it's the newest and largest ship we've ever been on.

Our only two disappointments would have been pertaining to:
1) The food - although good, it did not *WOW* us. Specifically lacking in the dessert arena.
2) The lines at embarkation and debarkation - this is a BIG ship with 3000+ passengers and at embarkation we had 1 1/2 hours in a slow moving line. Difficult with a young child.

However, the staff was exceptional and catered to our 4 1/2 year old's every wish. It more than made up for any inconveniences. The "Adventure Ocean" program for children was great! The portion of that ship is alcohol-free and had many things for kids to do, ranging from 3-17 years (in separate groups). Captain "Yonny" was so funny and friendly that we looked forward to his daily announcements. The security on board was impressive - we felt very safe at all ports. Our inside stateroom was roomy and offered a comfortable and quiet setting. The amenities included a personal safe, a hair dryer, 24 hour television (current movies, news and a nice camera view from the bridge along with a map showing where we were headed!) along with an ample sized bathroom and plenty of closet and storage space.

Anyone questioning whether they should cruise with their children should consider RCCL. They made us feel like royalty! We will definitely cruise with RCCL again.
