The staff was friendly, entertainment was alright, balcony cabin very comfortable, but the food was awful. There was no problem with crowds getting on or off the ship, that went smoothly. Main problem was when we docked in Toulon, where we were to meet the car rental people, they were not there. We had told them we would be in Toulon, but RC docked at another port about 25 minutes from the car rental company. So we had to take a $28 taxi both ways, and that cut into a sightseeing There were many people who went to Marseille, and they felt that they lost time because of this, and of course they paid for their shore excursion. RC did offer us a 20% discount on a future cruise.
