Wonderful cruise! Embarking and disembarking were the fastest we have ever experienced. We were so fast getting off the ship that we had 5 hours to kill at the airport!

Service was good but not exceptional all except for our dining room server Ping, he was wonderful! Food on RC is very good but nothing to write home about.

We were a little disappointed with the shows. RC uses a lot of their own entertainment so if you don't like a lot of dancing and music you would probably not appreciate the shows. One night we did thoroughly enjoy though was with comic Rondelle Sheridan, he was hilarious!

We decided to book an aft cabin this time around. We were in 9390 and even though the balcony was bigger there was really no more usable space because of the shape of it and the big beam that was right in the way. It also did not have a sliding door but rather a regular storm type door with just the glass in the top half. We were very disappointed with that.

As far as the ports, we had been to all of them before and were very disappointed in the change that has taken place since we sailed 2 1/2 years ago. St. Maarten has gotten so modernized that it has completely lost it's charm. It was barely recognizable. The prices too were not nearly as good as before. We were shopping for a digital camera and found no good deals and no one willing to bargain. We came home and bought one for $75.00 cheaper than what they wanted to sell us the same one for. Nassau was also more modernized than before and the cruise traffic was horrible! There were 5 other ships in port and you could barely move. We just gave up and went back to the ship. The new visitors center there was also disappointing. You had to go through it coming from the ship and going back to the ship and it also was so very crowded!

Any gripes we had though were only minor. We had a wonderful time and always enjoy sailing on RC's big ships. One glitch we did encounter though was because we signed up for the program where RC gets your luggage to the airport so you don't  have to lug it around yourself. When we got back home 1 of our bags was missing and we weren't the only cruisers from the Navigator with that same problem. They said they had been having problems with our cruise all day and some people had all of their bags missing. (The airport did see that the bag made it right to our front door which was nice seeing how it wasn't their fault in the first place.) One note about sailing in Sept., it is their tropical season and it is extremely hot. Sometimes it was almost unbearable. The days we were in port we came back to our cabin totally exhausted. We will probably not sail in the Fall again. Like I said before though we had a wonderful time and will definitely said again on RC.
