Due to September 11 we had no other choice than to sail out of Philadelphia. I Loved my cruise the Nordic Empress and i will be on another cruise onboard the wonderful ship this year June 29-July 6 2003

I loved being onboard the ship so much that i didn't get off the entire cruise. While in Bermuda we had an enormous hurricane with winds up to 90 mph. It was amazing, but the crew kept passengers inside due to the dangers of the high winds. I must say that the most exciting part of the hurricane was a group of friends and i despite the dangers went to Deck 11 (Sun Deck) the winds were amazing it actually blew you backwards.

I think the crew did a very good job keeping us calm and keeping us entertained. After the hurricane we were forced to stay in Bermuda one extra day for repairs to be made to the ship.

The food and dining was excellent. And a lot of people complain about how small the staterooms are, i found them most enjoyable for their size
