Itinerary: Eastern Caribbean

I sailed the Oasis with my husband who is a senior with Parkinson's Disease. We had a balcony stateroom with an ocean view. Overall, I thought the ship was beautiful, had great entertainment, and lots for the active person to do - zip line, rock climbing walls, etc. However, I was a little disappointed that there were not more shore excursions for persons with special needs or daytime activities on the ship for the less active (Only one accessible excursion in St. Thomas that departed at 8:00 a.m.). Food in the main dining room was quite good but the offerings in the windjammer got a little boring after a few days. The ship offers a lot for families. And the entertainment is truly topnotch. However, it comes with a high price tag. Also, I missed the rocking of the ship. It is so big, I kept forgetting I was on a ship!

Food in the main dining room was very good. Windjammer Marketplace got a little boring after a few days but was fine. I enjoyed the Solarium Bistro and Vintages, the wine bar.

Our stateroom was very nice. However the wi-fi/internet access from the stateroom was not user friendly and there were no directions. I probably spent 10 minutes trying to log into my emails without success. Guest services was kind enough to credit my minutes back to my account though. On Deck 14 in the Card Room they have 6 desk computers for guest use.

There were not as much activities as I would've liked. They had lots for active kids, teens and adults. But for the less mobile, there wasn't a lot to do during the days at sea. However evening activities were great; truly great shows.

Overall - 4 stars
