Itinerary: Caribbean

The Oasis is one of the seven wonders of the world. The experience was not up to the Liberty of the Seas as we had anticipated. With all the hipe for the largest ship, we were a little disappointed. The experience with the vast amount of people was not the issue as one would expect. The areas that we encounted was the service. It appears that the staff is spread thin for the areas they are assigned to. Dining became an issue with the assistant waiter, who seemed to disappear, which left the waiter for most of the tasks. Not sure what distance they had to get the food but it did take longer then the other ships we have sailed with.
The shows were exceptional, Hairspray, Aqua theater etc.

Dining became an issue with the assistant waiter, who seemed to disappear, which left the waiter for most of the tasks. Not sure what distance they had to get the food but it did take longer then the other ships we have sailed with The menu for the food is basically the same as all Royal ships. I can from memory know what we would be served each night which is redundant from the other cruises. I had thought with all the hipe the menu would have been more diversified. Not sure if the distance is the factor, but the meals were not Hot, mildly warm. Also the Ceasers salad had wilted lettuce, first time I encountered this. Had to nightly ask for the refill of the ice tea.
A do not miss is the Park cafe for lunch and Johnny Rockets for breakfast. That is correct Johnnys serves breakfast

This was as any Royal ships a clean well maintained balcony stateroom. The added features of the on line access for menus, bills, Internet access utilizing the TV and all the activities was done well

As all cruises something to do for everyone of all ages, very active

The Cozumel tour was a very interesting tour. The stop at the Mexico museum was a highlite. The guide was very informative and detailed. This I feel is a do not miss. As we have been to Cozumel many times this was worth the price.
