This was our first cruise to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. What where we thinking waiting this long to cruise! I know we cheated by starting at the top by going on the Oasis, but it was a very special occasion. The ship is beautiful and amazing at the same time. It is a bit crowded (get to the pools early or it will be difficult to find a chair). There is absolutely too much to do on this ship. 24 resturaunts, shopping, shopping and more shopping, rock climbing, zip line, surfing and boogey boarding. The shows are very good. I am not a broadway type of guy, but Hairspray was incredible. The performers in "Come Fly with Me" were crazy! Very talented and brave souls. Overall everything was great - our balcony, the stateroom attendent, the waiters, the food, the crew and the friends we made. If you like steak you must go to Chopps Grille. It is better than Ruth's Chris and at only $25 a person may be the best meal you ever have.

Too much, too good! They should not have a free donut shop, period! The coffee shake at Jonny Rockets is sweet! The food in the main dining room is incredible! Stick to the late or early dining and if you do My Time Dining make reservations each night or you may have a good weight. Be sure to order the appetizer, the entree (or two) and the dessert. The 10 pounds you gain will come back off in a few weeks.

Very nice and modern. Can't go wrong with a balcony. A cruise isn't about the room, but it was comfortable and on this ship you get to keep your HD tv. The bed is very comfortable and the ligthing in the room is good.

Very good, but you better pre-book all the shows you want to go to or you may not get to see them. We got lucky one night at the Opal Theather, but trying to see the Ice Show without a reservation was impossible. The line was wrapped on the ship.

Cozumel - Snorkeling at Akumal Bay (Sea Turtle Snorkel) was really fun. It is a beautiful resort area and we saw several sea turtles, a sting ray and a baracuda. The coral formations are cool too. They drop you back off in downtown Cozumel so you can shop. There are a lot of shops. Don't skip Pirana Joes (good deals on shirts and what not). Also on this exursion is a buffet lunch with an open tap and all you can drink beer. Wonderful! And we are not big drinkers. Costa Maya - We did shopping and beach break tour. The bus ride through the jungle was interesting to say the least. Our guide ate termites. This was a least favorite port, but I think the ship will start going to Jamaca instead of Costa Maya now that the port in Jamaca is ready to take the Oasis. Labaddee - Royal has made this place, the por to be. Extremely beautiul. $7 tip to get a cabana and 2 chairs for the day. The buffet served by the ship on the island had to be visited two times!! The zip line is crazy cool! The shopping can be tough here. Very, very pushy, but be sure to hagle.

It was our first extended trip without the kids and we are ready to go back for another. Royal Caribbean has great customer service and the only bad thing to say about this trip is that 7 days wasn't long enough.
