This was our 1st family cruise and overall we all had a great time. My wife and I were a little worried that the kids would get bored or feel confined on the ship. Then we boarded. Oh....my....God...the ship was huge. It is truly like a floating city. The kids had a blast at the Adventure Ocean kids club which me and my wife wife some time to hang out by ourselves. The pool area was always kept clean and kids had a blast in the kids pool and the whirlpools. I didn't mind the whirlpools myself. The free ice cream by the pool was absolutely delicious too. The kids also loved meeting all the Dreamworks Characters as they strolled through the various parts of the ship.

Overall the food was delicious. The only time the food was less than awesome was during the kids breakfast with the Dreamworks Characters. The waffles were horrible and the pancakes were tasteless. The buffet at the WindJammer Cafe was the kids favorite. There was a massive selection of foods from all over the world. The Main Dining room had tasty food too. There was a pizza place on board too that the kids enjoyed.

The staterooms were very tidy and clean and the housekeepers were wonderful. They always made sure the room was stocked with clean towels and linen. The bed was very comfortable too. We had an outside room that faced Central Park. I was an awesome view for not facing the ocean. The room was very quiet. The only thing that might have been better is the bathroom. As many ships, the bathrooms in the staterooms are very tiny.

Although we chose to not really do anything adventurous we still had a blast. All the shows except for the ABBA tribute band were excellent. The ice show was surprisingly fun even though the rink was pretty small. Hairspray was excellent. We even watched a movie with the kids one huge outdoor video screen. Oh, the dive show was really cool too. If your adventurous the zipline looked really cool, personally I was a little chicken.

Our shore excursions were fun too, although my wife thought that Nassau was a little chilly for the beach. Still we saw dolphins play and then played on the beach there. In St. Thomas, we went to a marine zoo and saw sharks, sting rays, coral reef, and even iguanas. Then we went the beach again. The water there was perfectly clear-blue! I'm from Chicago and Lake Michigan is filthy but there in St. Thomas I could see the sand squishing between my toes at 4 feet deep. Last stop was St. Maarten. This was a beautiful town full of culture and jewels. There were jewelry stores on every corner. This was a cruise we will never forget.
