I would rate this ship/cruise a B- to C+. We were drawn to the cruise for the ports of call and activities on board and on land. I was concerned about the size of the boat, but the crowds were handled fairly well. If you like to walk around and view the water--this is not the ship to take. The only place on board you can do this is the top deck which is almost entirely in the sun. The promenade deck has been turned into an enclosed running track with only a few 20-foot open areas to look at the sea. The inner open area is interesting but very noisy. Service was excellent in the main dining room at dinnertime and also with the cabin attendants. Staff was great in general-only met one rude person. Ship was clean and in good repair. Quite a few activities, but many didn't live up to hype. Perhaps a smaller ship would be better with RC. I would recommend Holland Lines instead. (And no, this review isn't paid for by Holland!)

Food in the dining room at dinnertime was excellent!! Unfortunately, food on the rest of the ship was poor. Buffets during the rest of the day tended to be lower quality. The only other options were the specialty restaurants that cost quite a bit. We ate at Chops and the food and service were excellent. Crew would regularly recommend these places to the point of RC sounding like they just wanted people to spend more money. Ironically this is the 1st cruise we've lost weight!

The cabin was nice but smaller than expected. Space isn't used as well as on other ships. The room never cooled properly. Even left on high cool--the room was very humid and didn't get comfortable until the early morning hours. Bed was comfy and could be split into 2 twins if preferred. The tv was used as an activities and information kiosk. It worked okay but tended to be very slow and not too user friendly. For Wi-Fi users packages are available but they are super pricey. Better to stick to text messages thru your own provider. The ship also rents out walkie-talkies to keep track of family members while on-board.

Comedians were great. Spouse liked the water show and acrobats. Zip line is maybe 100 feet long with a drop of 10 feet. Not really worth doing. Surf areas okay but as soon as you fall off board you get out. So after a 30 minute wait you get 10-15 seconds of board time. For people who did well, they could stay on a little longer. As a side note one of the women surf assistants had quite a mean streak--if someone was doing well, she would purposefully knock them off balance. The rock wall was good, but was closed often due to getting too hot from direct sun. Spa-massage--not very good , high-priced and high-pressure sales. The $10.00 sales events had some good deals for gift giving.

Nassau-Seahorse Sailing and Snorkeling-okay overall. Crew was very nice and catamaran fine. The area we went to was okay-had good sponges and fans in pretty colors. Not many varieties of fish. Much of the reef looked dead or diseased. We had 1 foot swells to snorkel in which was okay for us, but there were several non-swimmers aboard. It was not a safe area for novice snorkelers.

St Thomas-Scuba dive of ship-wreck-okay. Boat for transport arrived 2 hours late to pick up divers! They still did the listed dives but time was significantly shortened. Water was quite murky--poor conditions. Also did Best of St. Thomas and Shopping-waste of time and $. Small open-air bus. People were hit with passing branches going around curves. We weren't allowed to get out at several viewpoints-the guide would get out and describe the area while pointing. Don't bother with this one!

St Maarten Island Tour--Awesome! Air conditioned bus with very knowledgable guide. Went to both French and Dutch sides of island. Iguanas sitting in the treetops. Fun and informative.
