This was our first cruise. We were at sea for the first two days and I had a hard time getting acclimated. Only after I got home someone told me to go out on the deck and look at the horizon and that will help with any sickness. Guess I'll have to remember that next time. Our first port of call was Costa Maya. We did the Catamaran Experience. And what an experience it was! We went out on a catamaran out to a reef and snorkeled for about an hour. Saw lots of the reef , but very few fish. There was beer and soda's on the boat for everyone to enjoy at no cost. Our guides were very nice and fun. You have to catch a taxi (5.00) back to the main area and that in and of itself was an excursion! We drove 80 MPH around scooters, people walking and other cars just to get back. I guess the faster they got us there the more money they would make. The shopping was an experience as well. You can talk alot of the prices down. Remember, they start high, so you can talk down almost anything.

Our next stop was Cozumel. We did the Dune Buggy & Snorkel Combo. AWESOME!!! Our guides Edwardo and Andres were the best ! First you are assigned a dune buggy and you drive a short drive to the snorkel stop. There we were introduced to our dive master Andy. We went out and snorkeled for about 45 minutes and saw LOTS of fish. Andy was great pointing things out for us. Well back in our dune buggy and off to the other side of the island we went. Through town, residential areas and all. Got to see lots of things you probably wouldn't see otherwise. When we got to the other side of the island, we drove up to a secluded beach with 12 umbrellas , and one volleyball court. One umbrella for each buggy. While there we had lunch. Good Food !! And cold drinks as well. You could eat all you wanted. We stayed on the beach for about an hour then drove back to town for some shopping.Again, lots of cheap buys. Talk em down.

Our next stop was the Grand Cayman. HATED IT!! They gave you a map to find your way around but there are no street signs there so pretty much you are on your own. And the shop keepers are not in a big hurry to help you either. Lots of rich , rude people here. Move On.....

Our next stop was Montego Bay Jamaica ! AWESOME!!!! Here we did the Canopy Tours and loved it !! OMG what an adventure ! Our guides Waldy and Kim were awesome. If you have ever wanted to do this this is the place. Ate some jerk chicken while we were up in the jungle. MMMMMMmmmm. After we were done with the canopy tour we did some shopping. Now if you are shopping for jewelry, this is the place. We bought 2 Movado watches valued at 649.00 per watch for 299.00!! Beautiful watches !An I have since checked with Movado and they are real. The shop we bought them in (Royal Jewelers?) is a certified Movado dealer. Everything here is reasonable when it comes to price. Esp the liquor!

Our last stop was Key West. We parasailed in Key West. This was just okay. I am more for fast moving adventures. this you kind of sailed through the sky. Hence the name. Not bad , but not in a hurry to do it again.

That pretty sums up our ports of call and our excursions.
Now the Boat !! DunDunDunnnnnn

Actually the ship and its staff was really nice. EXCEPT!~ DO NOT BUY MARKS PLATINUM PASSPORT BOOK!! It is a total rip-off! He will tell you you can get 300.00 worth of free stuff in all these ports of call with coupons in the book. Well pretty much they are all JUNK! I would not give any of these items as gifts. The passport book is 20.00 and if you hurry you can get one of only 200 available ! BS!! People bought them long after the first set ran out.

The food was okay. Never really hot. But for the most part it was good. Our wait staff was awesome! Imdat from Turkey was our waiter. Malbert was the guy that cleaned our room and he was awesome as well. They will all (except Mark) go our of their way to help you.

The one complaint I had about the ship was the pools. One was and all adult pool (The Solarium) but had a burger, hotdog, pizza and fries stand at it. The other pool had adult beverages at it. Somehow that makes no sense to me . Switch it already !

We had a great time and Im sure you will as well! Feel free to email me with any questions !
Bon Voyage !
