We had been saving for this cruise for a year and was very excited that it was finally time for us to board ship. My brother and his wife were going with us and they were also excited as they had never had a vacation without children before.

When we got to our rooms we found a huge fan in our room. Our room had flooded and the carpets were soaked in our room and my brothers room. We lived with that fan in our room for two days. It took up almost our whole floor. We couldn't walk around in socks as they would get soaked and we had to keep everything off the floor in the closet as it was also soaked. My brother had the fan in his room for a day also and finally got tired of the noise. We were never offered any other rooms. I was totally aggervated especially when trying to blow dry my hair in competition with the fan.

Our steward was wonderful. He kept our wet room well straightened up. He was very friendly and always said hello. He made towel animals for us which kept us laughing.

Our Wait Staff was exceptional. We wanted to take Kelly home with us and adopt her.

The hurricane just added to the experience. Thankfully my husband and I do not get motion sickness and enjoyed the roller coaster ride.

The ports were not what we expected. Belize was a filthy little town with nothing to offer. The people were rude and grabby at the shops. Costy Maya was no better. Cozumel was our favorite. The water was beautiful. We rented a car and drove all over the island. We met a lot of people that used the front of their homes for stores. After the shopping we went snorkling. My brother and his wife had never done anything like that before. They used a whole camera for pictures of fish. They had a blast. Cozumel is was a good port.

Our most disappointing time happened at the pool. Several people were feeling pretty good by the time they got back on ship. They were very drunk. I was surprised that the ship personel let it continue on for so long. Two men thought how funny it would be to show everyone their backsides unclothed. One had a thong on and the other pulled his shorts and underwear down to his knees. This did not happen just once but three times. Once with the help of a woman. Familys were grabbing their children and trying to get them out of their before they saw anything else. The bartenders were laughing and encouraging it. I had to complain to three people before anything was done about it. We went to the pursers desk and he called security. We went down to see what security was going to do about it. They talked to them and afterward the male security gave the a high-five. I was very angry. They were allowed to stay with their drunk friends while the children had to leave with out any place to go because the other pool is adults only.

If you are looking for a family cruise this is not it. They say in their rules "no nudity" but they do not uphold their rules. If had happened just once I know they could not have forseen that. But it happened three times. It should have been addressed after the first time not encouraged and high-fived.

The ship was beautiful and the people that took care of us were wonderful. If you are looking for a family cruise I would look elsewhere.
