WOW! We had a great family cruise. With three children ages 14, 11, and 9. I was
expecting to be exhausted by the time we got back, but instead I am rested and
had the best vacation of my life. My husband and I had taken this cruise last
year, and I thought it had been great, but this year, with the kids in tow, we
had the most amazing vacation ever. The Ocean Adventure teams became the most
talked about people in our staterooms at night. My kids loved their counselors
and cried as we left them. In this day and age, especially in Phoenix, my kids
get very little freedom to roam, and even less time to do exactly as each of
them wants to, usually we have to compromise because I don't let them out of my
sight often. This cruise was a real treat for all of them. We all got the
vacation we wanted, and did the things we wanted to do. I highly recommend the
Rhapsody to all families! We didn't do the ships excursions, I hired guides in
each port, and that seemed to work best, we were in much smaller groups (10 -
25) as opposed to the 100+ on the ships excursions. In Jamaica, I highly
recommend Phil at
www.phil-lafayette-tours.com , and in Grand Cayman, I recommend Mark at
www.mobydicktours.com , they were
great! Also, I recommend
www.towncarconnection.com to get to and from the ship. Get your family
and GET OUT THERE!
