Itinerary: Western Caribbean

As a 16 year-old girl, I was going on this cruise to meet new people and to have fun. The first day I got on board, I walked around the ship and saw a lot of teens, but not as many as I had expected. I saw some guys in the hot tub so I jumped in and before I knew it, I had many friends. That night, we decided to try out the teen club. There were not many people there and only a few were dancing. So we left and did what most of the other teens were doing: walking around, hanging out, and getting to know each other even better. This was a trend that continued throughout the remainder of the cruise as the teen club attracted fewer and fewer people. We would hang out on deck, in the hot tubs, and in people’s cabins.

Every day I would receive a schedule for the next day’s activities in the teen club. They had things such as: hottie hunt, scavenger hunts, trivia games, name that tune, ping pong tournaments, prom night, and college night complete with chugging contests (non-alcoholic beverages of course). Some things sounded pretty lame, but others caught my attention. During the day I would meet up with my friends, lose track of time, and completely forget about going. So by the end of the cruise, I only went to one teen activity.

Well food in the windjammer was not that great, but in the dining room it was sooo good. Try the chilled strawberry soup as your appetizer, its good! The food in the solarium is awesome (the fries especially). The service is really good. Every time I saw the cabin attendant in the hall he would greet me with a smile.
So all in all, it was a great cruise and a perfect vacation for any teen!
