My wife and I sailed the four-night Bahamas cruise on the Sovereign departing
Monday 1/17/2005. I have sailed on several cruise lines previously. After
reading both negative and positive reviews of this ship, I was pleasantly
surprised to find all aspects of the cruise from boarding, security,
entertainment, cabin and food service in good order. Essentially, I agree with
Mr. Stoltz's Jan. 10, 2005 cruise assessment as listed on this web site. Past
problems have been eliminated. Certainly, there were no toilet backups as cited
in another review. I might add that cruise ship toilets should never be expected
to operate as well as land based systems although there are some that do! On a
scale of 6, I would give this cruise and overall rating of 5. I look forward to
cruising with Royal Caribbean again.
