Ship: Sovereign of the Seas

Sailing Date: January 17th, 2005

Itinerary: Bahamas

My husband and I took the Sovereign for our second time, along with his parents who had never cruised before. We chose this ship again because of the great service and ports of call. The wind picked up so our itinerary was changed. We spent 2 days in Nassau which turned out great. The first day we went shopping in town for a little while which was fun. The second time we hired a tour guide who showed us all of the highlights of the island and told us some of the history. It was a wonderful experience. When we finally got to stop at Cococay, we only stayed for 30 minutes because the winds picked up again and they wanted to get everyone back to the ship safely. At least my in-laws got to see the beautiful island which my husband and I fell in love before.

The ship has been redecorated since we were on it last time. It looks great! The staff was very helpful and courteous.

We would recommend this cruise to anyone. If you want adventure, book some excursions. If you want relaxation, just sit back and relax. If you want entertainment, don't miss the great shows onboard.

This ship has something for everyone, just get out there!!
