This was my first cruise, so I do not have a lot to compare it too but I loved it. The ship is wonderful. Our check in went smoothly, we did online check in so it only took a few minutes. We arrived on the ship at 12:00 so we went straight to the Windjammer for lunch. The food is great. The only problem with the service in the Windjammer is sometimes you have to track down a waiter or waitress to get a soda. We did purchase the drink package so this made it a little simpler. We were able to go to our cabin at 1:00. I have read that the cabins are small but I was actually surprised it was not as bad as I read. I felt like it was cozy. We were on the fourth deck which is the main deck and I would recommend for anyone to book this deck it is great. It is right in the vicinity of the Centrum and the casino is just one deck above on 5. The elevators are slow so this helped us a lot to be near everything.

We arrived in Coco Cay on Tuesday. This island is beautiful. The water was a little rough on the tenders on the way over and it came up a storm while we were on the island. Our stay there was short but it was a beautiful island, lots to see and do. Nassau is a nice place but it is a culture shock. The main area of the island is poor neighborhoods with shacks for houses. We did a taxi tour and it was great. We got to see a lot of the island for only $28 a person. It was well worth the money. Our driver was very knowledgeable of his country and we learned a lot of the history. He took us to Atlantis for a tour of the resort and aquarium. This is worth the time to go and see, Atlantis is amazing. We went to the Queen's Staircase too. It is a great historical place to visit. The shopping in Nassau was ok. I really did not find in bargains but was not in the market for any jewelry.

To sum it all up I think Sovereign is a wonderful ship. All the crew are very nice and helpful. Dining and entertainment was great. I plan on booking on her again in the future.
