This was my first cruise, and boy, was it a great one! I went with my Mom for a little Mom & Daughter vacation. We get along really well, so it was fun. Anyway, I'm going to make this review EASY for you to read, instead of just reading one long paragraph...nobody wants to do that! Ok, so I split it up:

Embarking- We got a Suite, so we were one of the first to board the ship. I recommend getting out all of your birth certificates and other boarding papers ready beforehand. The line for all of the non-suites was very long, but it moved fast.

Rooms- We got a Junior Suite, and it was pretty big. Very comfy, and extremely clean! The balcony was really nice. It comes with 2 chairs and a table, which is very cool! The views are great...even when you're in port! That's why it's always good to get a balcony.

Food- Very yummy! Each night has a different menu, so you'll always be trying new things! I tried most of the new foods I never even heard before, and they were delicious. The desserts were even better! Our waiter was from Croatia, and that was really neat. Our dinnermates were so funny and cool. Meeting new people was a good experience.

Crew- Wow, I think I said this at least a million times during the cruise: "They are always so pleasant!". It's like nothing goes by them! The crew are very pleasant and are always caught smiling, which is really important. I mean, you don't want an angry waiter or worker!

Pool- The Pool Deck *Deck 11* was very large. Two swimming pools and two jucuzzis. Kids (well, teens) are even allowed in the jucuzzis, which is neat. I didn't go in any though. Too hot outside! But the pools were beautiful, and very roomy. They look small, but once you're in there, they're great! Nice and roomy.

Stateroom Attendant- Very nice, and always in a good, pleasant mood. All 4 nights we found animals made out of towels on the beds. And if you ever leave a pair of sunglasses, or even glasses, they will be on the animal's face! Very cute, and I even took pictures of them.

Bathrooms- The public bathrooms were VERY up to par, and clean. Same with the rooms' bathroom. Not too large, but very clean. Cleaniness is always important!

Lobby/Shops- Great prices, great value! I recommend the shop titled, "Souvenirs". I went in their with my Mom at least once a day! You can find everything from pajamas to sunglasses in there! The jewerly shop next door is very low-priced, but nice.

Activities- You could do the following activities: Bingo, pool, rock-climbing, exercise-rooms, sun walk, and mostly every day they would have a little extra presentation or even how to Country line dance or Salsa dance! Very good activities. And there's a big casino, as well, for adults.

Entertainment- Very entertaining on this ship, I thought, as a first-time cruiser! My Mom and I watched the shows every night, and even stayed up late for the Late-night Comedy! Royal Caribbean's entertainment is grand. El Goucho was one of the performers, and he was so cool. And Ed Regine, a comedian, was hysterical! For adults, there's usually dueling pianos in the Schooner Bar.

Disembarking- You will be assigned to a colored tag (which will be found in your room after dinner) for your baggage. In the morning, when you're ready to get off the ship, they will call your color. And when they do, you go straight to the gate with the other people, who have the same color as you do!

Overall Cruise- For my first cruise ever (my Mom's 4th), I'd have to say it was the best! The food, entertainment, activities, crew, and even the room, was the greatest! I will definitely be cruising with Royal Caribbean again!
