I was surprised for my 50th birthday by my wife.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
The ship was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The service was very good especially from our cabin steward and evening dining table waiter and assistant waiter.
We met some great people, especially our evening dining mates.
The weather was outstanding, especially when comparing to late November in Chicago.
The food was somewhere between mediocre and good, but plentiful. I think cooking for 2000 people can compromise the food quality. I liken the fare to wedding reception quality.
The cruise is now somewhat tainted in my mind however, after finding out RCCL's record/policies regarding their waste magagement and illegal dumping.
I care too much about our environment and will not return to this cruise line until things change...
