I am 13 years old and this ship was extremely enjoyable and very visually appealing. It was beautiful! This was my second cruise (SS. NORWAY), so we can slightly compare. I'm pretty sure the ship was built in 98. You walk into the main lobby, and you see this like 10 foot high ceiling! WOW! I felt like I was in a castle. Theres also so much to do. Let me tell you about the ship:

FOOD:
Breakfast in the dining room was nice, but you would have to wait to get it. Instead, I just went to the Windjammer. More casual. Breakfast was pretty good. Pancakes, bacon, sausage were all accessible- abundantly!! !'IM TELLING YOU, THE ENTIRE CREW HAD TO ROLL ME OUT A THERE!!! Seriously. Lunch was good, but nothing special. There were like hot dogs...etc. I didn't care for that formal food. Supper was a different story. It's like this on all cruises. STAY AWAY! The dining room food is served in very small portions. It is loaded in calories. Frankly Id rather eat McDonalds that this stuff. It's like fancy and all formal. GOOD SIDE: They had a kids menu, which filled me up -sort of. I always ended up ordering room service after or getting late snacks. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. D.R food only for those who appreciate gourmet cuisine. There was a bbq restaurant 24h- great. Extremely healthy- right before bed. There were mid night buffets but I never went. I didnt want to gain too much weight...

THE CABIN
We had the cheapest cabin- at the bottom- small. IT WAS NICE!!!! IT WAS SO SMALL, BUT SOMEHOW THEY MANAGED TO FIT EVERYTHING IN NICELY. GOOD JOB. ROOMY, ELEGANT- I WASTED AN ENTIRE AFTERNOON WATCHING JACK FROST ON THE 14 IN TV. IT REALLY WAS FUN.

THE SHIP
More on the ship...
It was fun. from a teenagers point of view. there were plenty of things to do. recommend. a+++ I enjoyed just looking at the rooms they were so well decorated and well-kept. our room cleaning guy was nice- always did it on time. They had plenty of daily activities. I went to napkin folding it was pretty fun. COOl, cool. There was a video arcade which swallowed my money each time. It was fun. I enjoyed meating new people. THERE ARE LIKE 2000 PPL ON BOARD, AND IT FELT LIKE MY OWN PRIVATE YACHT! They also change the carpet in the elevator each day. That way you know what day it is! Anyway,

BRING THE KIDS ON THIS ONE ITS ROCKIN FUN I RECOMMEND A++
