I would just like to say
that overall we had a great cruise – the ship was beautiful, the staff were
friendly, the food was enjoyable and it didn’t hurt that the weather was sunny,
sunny, sunny as well.
The Ship
It seemed to be kept very clean, and I enjoyed the décor. Not over the top or
too many vibrant neon colors like some ships. We found a few quiet places to get
a way from everyone such as Deck 5.
Our Room
We had a stateroom with a balcony on Deck 7 which was a nice size, and we used
the balcony often in late afternoons when we had enough of the sundeck. One
morning we bought specialty coffees and enjoyed the sunrise with our coffee and
beautiful pastries (the pastries at Latitudes are spectacular and are
complimentary if you buy a special coffee).
Our stateroom attendant Richard was great and helped to make our cruise so
enjoyable.
The Pools
We didn’t spend a lot of time in the outdoor pool as it was usually busy, but we
did use the outdoor deck to get some sunshine and enjoy the poolside atmosphere.
We just went to swim in the solarium when we needed to cool off.
They opened the solarium roof when we were in port one day, so it was nice to
enjoy the adult pool and the sunshine at the same time.
Windjammer Café
We ate breakfast at the Windjammer most mornings, and because we are early
risers didn’t face any crowds or line-ups. There was lots of selection and no
problem with having something different every day.
Dining Room
We sat at a fun table with some new friends which makes a difference, and we all
enjoyed the food immensely. The wait staff were so friendly and attentive that I
miss them already.
Ports
We had excursions booked in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, and both were well
organized and lots of fun.
I’d recommend this cruise to both couples and families.
