This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise, and we loved everything about it. The ship was beautiful - lovely ocean views, clean, beautiful and rich decor, and even though the ship was filled to capacity, one never felt a crowded feeling in the public spaces. The food choices and presentations were superb - as was the service and cheerfulness and efficiency of the staff. The entertainment was fantastically professional and varied. We even had a folkloric local Russian troupe performing for us on the ship on the night we were in St. Petersburg.

The food was excellent, varied, and beautifully presented.

We had one of the larger inside cabins. The storage and living space was efficiently engineered.

There were many activities to choose from. We didn't take advantage of all of them.

We enjoyed all of the ship's excursions.

Our trip began and ended in Stockholm. The ports we stopped in were: Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Riga, Gdansk, and Visby. Each port had its uniqueness and beauty. We chose this particular cruise because we wanted to get a taste of each of these ports. We stayed in St. Petersburg for one long day - and were able to see the city's highlights, learn its history, and visit several sites, including the Hermitage. In helsinki, we took the tour that included a countryside lunch in a manor house and a visit to the town of Porvoo. In Riga, we took the ship's Jewish heritage tour, and in Gdansk and in Visby, we just toured the lovely and quaint cities. We stayed in Stockholm on our own before and after the crusie, and we loved that city. It's beautiful.
