Itinerary: Western Caribbean

The shiwas nice and so was the crew. The itinerary took us from New Orleans, Louisiana to Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica; and back to New Orleans. Cozumel was fine but in Grand Cayman you have to be be brought ashore by a smaller boat. Apprently when there a 5 to 6 foot seas they can't or will not do that. So instead of getting to go ashore on what was to be the best part of the trip we drifted for a day so we didn't get to Jamaica too soon. There is only one word to describe our last port of call, Falmouth Jamaica, "SLUM". Apparently Royal Caribbean has spent a lot of money to build port facilities for their ships but outside the 1 ac fenced in area is a getto swarming with folks who will pester you to death until you get back in the fence. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy (well maybe him). Do not waste your time or money it is not worth it.

The food was good. Some nights better than others.

We had a balcony so it was nice enough.

We went to shows each night and they were done very well.

I have only gone on two cruises, the first was very nice the second was not too nice. Missing a port of call and Falmouth being the dump it was made two thirds of the trip a disaster. I will not go again.
