My wife and I celebrated our 10th annivesary with our kids (12 & 8) on this cruise out of New Orleans. We all rated our cruise at about a 9.85 out of 10. A great experience!! We loved the ship. We loved the staff and crew. PLEASE remember your wait staff and servers are working long contracts away from home with no days off to help you have a great vacation. Is each and every one of them a superstar? No, but our experience with them was a very good one. My little girl wanted to bring our waiter (Santana) home with her! If I had to pick one thiing to complain about, it would be that they allow smoking inside the ship in some of the bars (the Sports Bar is one of them). I have asthma and do not frequent smoke-filled places. If I wanted to watch a game or event in the sports bar, I couldn't have done it because of the smoke. But as with anything, you can't please everyone. Remember that when you are reading any reviews. I saw a comment someone made on Facebook about the same cruise we were on and her opinion was totally the opposite of our experience. It's what you make of it. If you expect to be treated like you own the ship, you might be disappointed. If you just want to experience what they have to offer, you will probably love it.

We thought the food was great!! We preferred the food in the dining room as opposed to that in Windjammer where it is buffet-style. Still, all of the food was really good. The snacks/desserts in Cafe Promenade were always delicious, especially the tiramisu and the eclairs!

We were on Deck 2 in an oceanside room. It was small but we really didn't need anything more than what we had. The kids' beds folded down from the ceiling and they really liked it up there. Our 2 twins/queen bed was very comfortable. I wish I had remembered to bring a power strip for our phones, iPods and toothbruush charging but we managed nonetheless. All we wanted was a place to shower, sleep and change clothes in private. The room gave us all of that. There are lots of little storage areas for all of your clothes, toiletries, medicice, etc. It had a small flat screen TV which we hardly watched buit it was adequate.

Regardless of age, there are A LOT of things to do onboard!! Just look at the Ship Compass which is brought to your room every evening for the following day's activities. Our most common problem was choosing what to do when there was more than one thing we wanted to do scheduled at the same time.

Playa Corona in Cozumel is an excellent and inexpensive way to spend a relaxing day snorkeling (see Trip Advisor reviews for this place).

Green Grotto Caves/Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica was my familiy's favorite day. The Jamaican people are so friendly and the country is very beautiful.

Stingray City in Grand Cayman. Must see activity. Unforgettable!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Good enough?
