Itinerary: Transatlantic

I have sailed on 3 other Cruise Lines. Royal Caribbean is by far the best because you absolutely cannot surpass the personal service you receive. I have sailed on almost brand new, and older ships on RCCL. The excellent service never changes. The older ships have some "scuffs", but are still beautiful (as first time cruisers recognize). The brand new ships are huge and beautiful and are targeted to families. Voyager is older but quite quite large (great for our 13 day transatlantic cruise), but seniors may well enjoy one of the smaller ships. We'll be on Rhapsody (being refurbished this month) on a cruise to Alaska in late May. It's in the Vision Class. It's a smaller ship (we'v been on Grandeur) but perfect for us, and not so geared towards families with young children. We don't cruise for gourmet dining (although it is available and quite excellent on RCCL ships), but to see places we've never seen before and experience excellent service. But most of all, to relax by being at sea.

Food: Very good. The escargot is perfection!

Rooms: Lovely, very comfortable, a bit out-dated.

Entertainment: Plenty to do but didn't care to do most - the cruise was for relaxation. The spa was great in that regard.

Ports: Voyager doesn't sail on that intinerary anymore. But I've been to Cozumel - don't go shopping unless you want to be harrassed.

Great ports, rough seas, fabulous cruise!
