Itinerary: Western Caribbean
I traveled with 10 other family members on this cruse, and we had the time of
our lives. We're Platinum Crown and Anchor members, and boarded the ship by noon
time, hand lunch, and relaxed until we departed. Hand sanitizers are placed
everywhere throughout the ship -- you must use them!!!! No one in my family got
sick on this cruise. In fact, we had no idea there was even an outbreak until
after our trip was over and I read the reviews after we got home. This is a
great vacation for children -- ice skating, rock climbing, rollerblading,
miniature golf, basketball, the arcade, Adventure Ocean. You name it, they have
it. We had a blast! I've been on the Navigator, Adventure, Nordic Empress, and
even the old Song of America -- and I've loved each and every one of them. The
only advice I can give to people nowadays is to make sure you wash your hands
constantly! The crew on these ships can only do so much; in fact I saw them
cleaning handrails, public areas, buffet areas, etc. all day long. It's up to
each and every one of us to take care of ourselves the best way we can. I
personally love RCI and prefer them to any of the other cruise lines I've been
on.
