Well, this was my first cruise, a Holiday Week Cruise with 3100 passenger of
which 1000 were children. I expected that however, Service and Food were mostly
poor. Transfers from the airport to Miami were terrible, handled our own bags, 2
hrs to wait for bus- just terrible. Our luggage did not get to room until 8:30
the first night. Suggest if you want to eat, do so only in the dining rooms.
Windjammer is dirty, food is dirty and nobody really cares. Service in dining
room was good - service in stateroom was adequate - they forgot to clean our
room at least one full day. Activities on ship were fine - ports were fine as
were transfers. Getting off the ship was another horror show - we got off early
- our bags took 2 hours to show up. Don't arrange for early fights or you will
not make them. My 11 year old daughter had a great time, as did I but next
cruise, another ship, smaller and probably an different cruise line. These guys
just dont care - nobody on the ship to talk to, to make decisions, to help you.
I did get to buy some Imodium for $8 from the ships doctors after we go sick
from the food.
