 Seabourn Cruise Line

Launched in 1987 - originally the name Signet Cruises was planned - Seabourn Cruise Line is an ultra-luxury cruise operator. The company's original two vessels were later joined by the similar Seabourn Legend. In 1991 already, Carnival Corporation acquired a stake in Seabourn and later took over the line. In 1999, Seabourn Sun and the two Seabourn Goddesses joined the fleet from sister company Cunard. In mid-2001, Seabourn Goddess I & II were sold again, however, and the larger Seabourn Sun was transferred to sister company Holland America Line in April, 2002.

The onboard casino is very small with a dozen slots, one roulette wheel & two blackjack tables. This is not a ship for big gamblers. The entertainment was acceptable, but not what one would... read more
