We were so excited about our cruise with Seabourn with all the usual expectations of a luxury ship. At vast expense we chose a balcony cabin but were so upset to find not only a very tired and worn 26 year old ship but that our cabin was also worn, tired and dirty. Service was great but so can MacDonalds be! Food was in some cases excellent but in the main dining room it was awful. Very gloomy room - hardly any day light at all, chipped crockery and generally very 3 star. The ship is extremely boring with very little entertainment to talk of - even when there was some it was second rate. The worst thing was that we had no hot water for 5 of our 7 days and very hot water in the cold tap! Out on deck they give you horrible plastic, and in some cases warm from the dish washer, flutes or cocktail glasses - very nasty! A lot of the furniture was old and very marked and although the crew were lovely this is not what we paid for or expected. I am as we speak waiting for a reply from Seabourn.
Some was excellent some was ok some was very poor.
Not great. Dirty slightly old and worn and the mini bar door was broken and despite reporting this still not memded on our stay.
Boring and second rate.
