It was an interesting trip but would not do it again. The only interest was the excursions, no nightlife, not enough room to workout or truly let loose. Other passengers were cordial but generally old. The staff was over worked and complained about working day to night. Food was terrific and dining room well run but cramped. The bar was not a place for fun but to have a drink and call it a night.

The food was very good, toward the end of the cruise they were running short of fresh veggies.

The stateroom was small, well appointed but had dirty bed coverings. The perimeter of the room was not cleaned, found items from the previous passengers.

You go on this cruise for the excursions, there is not much more onboard than the library.

I would not take this cruise again, told by other passenger that Antarctic was a much better trip. I felt like the excursion guides were trying to find things to fill the time, ie talking about global warming and rocks. Interesting but not my idea of a holiday good time.

The trip was interesting but lacked a personal touch, yes they knew your name at the dining room. The expedition leader was good at logistics but not at connecting with the passengers. Never felt that anyone truly cared you were on board.
