Itinerary: Coco Cay, Nassau, Day at Sea
NASSAU on Tuesday: We went shopping at the straw market, then went to PARADISE ISLAND via land taxi ($4/person each way). We had gotten a room at Comfort Suites for $160 (AAA discount)+ tax in order to gain access to the facilities at Atlantis right across the street. Atlantis has great pools, water slides, and their beaches are incredible. The water is crystal clear, and we found a quiet cove to the left where snorkeling was great (better than Coco Cay...lots of colorful fish). This beach was better than Coco Cay, in our opinion. We had brought our own snorkeling equipment.
Day at Sea:
Lots of fun at poolside. We got chairs in the shade early, as the chairs were quickly taken that morning. We enjoyed the belly flop contest, animal towel folding.
Entertainment: We really enjoyed Rock on Broadway, Parentrap, Karaoke, PingPong Tournament. We missed Quest, and saw the beginning of Love & Married (used to be Not So Newlywed ). It was not kid friendly.
Casino:
Didn't spend much time there...played the slots machines, and overall, broke even.
Debarkation:
Again, we were fortunate. We were given WHITE early debarkation tags, so we were the first ones called to leave, after eating breakfast in Gigi dining room. We were in our car driving away by 9:15am.
Overall, a great family vacation.
