This
was our third cruise on this ship. We find it to be great value. We are always
happy when we board to see familiar faces that we have seen in the past.
We found a slight difference this past cruise as they have converted to the
English pound. We found it to be very expensive to purchase anything on the
ship.
The cabins are small but very adequate. We stayed on Caberet Deck, outside. We
had been down on Deck 2 on a previous time, but find it very noisy down there.
The cabin stewards are very friendly and helpful. I needed my mattress changed
and this was done in no time.
The food is great with plenty of selection. We were on for two weeks and I was
expecting a repeat the second, but this was not the case. We enjoy seeing
familiar faces each time, and they always remember us. Our Head Waiter has been
on each time.
One downfall was the purser's desk. My husband refers to them as "the weakest
link". They were not very helpful at anytime. Others on-board commented the
same.
Shore excursions were very over-priced, but we have always done our own in the
past. The English Pound made it worse.
We like the fact that this company repositions and changes itineraries almost
each year. It makes it interesting to go back with them.
We really enjoy this ship and hope to cruise with them again.
