This was our fourth cruise on the Sunbird. The itinerary was fantastic. Ports of call included Barbados, St Kits, St.Maarten, St. Thomas, Guadeloupe, and St Lucia.

When you arrive in Barbados, by the time you get from the airport to the ship and checked in, there isn't alot of time left to sight see.When we got to St Kitts; we hired a taxi and went to Frigate Bay beach. Not the best beach on the island. There were alot of rocks in the water. This beach is going on our " not to do again" list.

St. Maarten's beach was right in front of where the ship docked. We met a nice waitress, who kept our glasses full of rum punch all day. Hard to believe that the ship had this beach booked as a side trip at a cost of 14 pounds each, when it is a free public beach. St. Thomas part of the US virgin islands, so we had to clear customs in person before we could get off the ship. We took a wonderful ride in a taxi to Magen's Bay. We had heard so much about Magen's Bay that we had to check it out. We had a great time. Guadeloupe is on our "not to do again list". The people weren't very friendly, the island was dirty, and for the most part looked as if a bomb had gone off downtown. Got back on the ship and had some fun around the pool deck.

St. Lucia is our favourite island. It is the most beautiful island of all. This was our third time there and the only thing we hadn't done on St. Lucia was go to the beach. The volcano, banana plantations, and the rainforest are a must to see here.

The Sunbird itself is always full of surprizes.Just when you think you have everything figured out, something changes to make it even better. The staff is very friendly and very talented. They are always singing and dancing around. The shows are always entertaining and well planned. The food is the best. It is five star all the way. The wait staff is very professional and courteous, as well as being funny and entertaining.
