When this ship entered service as the Song of Norway in 1970, it was the first-ever newbuild ordered by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. And in another "first", Song of Norway in 1978 became the first-ever purpose-built cruise ship to be "stretched" by inserting a 85 ft. midsection. Now named Sundream, this ship joined the Sun Cruises fleet in 1997.
